“Love Conquers All” by Jeremy Cowartfrom Voices of Haiti
Jeremy Cowart, a phenomenal photographer based out of Nashville, traveled to Haiti after the earthquake in January. He was very wary about being “just another photographer looking for a front page image”. But after much thought, he had the conviction to let the people of the heartbroken country tell their own story instead of him tell it for them. Out of this has come the Voices of Haiti project.
Everyday Jeremy will be posting a new image to the photo essay project so you can know the stories, feelings, pain and hope that the people of Haiti share.
The photos are available for purchase with all proceeds going to Safe Water Nexus, an organization establishing long-term relationships in Uganda and Haiti to provide clean and protected environments to vunerable groups of people.
